It is the night before I head to Mexico for the second time this year, but this time with my SCARLET and gear to shoot a festival. I wanted to show you guys just how portable the CLUTCH is, and how big or little it can be. My friends call it a transformer, because of all of the configurations that it can be configured into. It's amazing that this shoulder rig can fold up to be this small. After having 25 lb's of gear on it very securely this afternoon, it fits nicely into my suitcase, and takes up very little space! The shoulder rig is a very important tool in the cinematographers repertoire, and the CLUTCH fits the bill without reservation. If you don't have one yet, get it. If your wondering why it costs so much, it's because it's the best shoulder mounted rig that you can buy.

Nice - BTW its not a good idea to travel w/ your lens attached....from what I have learned from some talented AC's here in NYC.

It's those damn Triscuits that really bog down any cameraman's bag.

I'm shocked that they haven't released a travel size box.

Yeah the Clutch is great, always have it in one of my bags, and will be even greater once the Module Adapter and the Quod Pro Battery Module and I/O Pro modules ships...

It will make the camera balance so ever beautifully... ;)

Oh, yeah, BIG NONO to have the lens attached to your camera in the Bag, I don't care how small or safe that Bag is, should not be done... ;)

Same for the SSD, never leave it in camera while traveling with the camera in the Bag.

What backpack is your Scarlet in?

Yeah Big no to keep the SSD in the Reader like that and a lens on a camera.. Please change before going anywhere! Have fun.

Wow guys, ok... I am sitting in a hotel in Mexico city (Camino Real) after missing my connecting flight to Puerto Escondido. It was that Casa Avila in the airport that I just had to have, but because of it, I missed. Oh well... if you come through Mexico city and have to stay overnight, the Camino Real is attached to the airport and the service is like Hilton. Beds are good, and pillows are too.

Ok I will take the lens off of the camera asap. Oh and the SSD out of the camera. Thanks you guys!

Here is a picture out of my hotel room in the awesome Mexico city...

The backpack that I have is the Tamrac Evolution 9. It is a beast! Way bigger than I thought it was going to be, but perfect the my RED gear.

BTW the picture is from my laptop webcam, as most of my RED gear is in my suitcase, cords, batteries, etc. I couldn't let my new SCARLET out of my sight though, lol.

Oh the CLUTCH also has a tripod mount that is adjustable for balance. I promise you that the website does not do it justice in it's explanation of it. It truly is a work of art, and whoever designed it put tons of thought and creativity into it.
