The better way to go? Mac or PC

Hi everyone, I've been a mac user for a very long time and almost everytime I edit my RED footage, my Mac seems to crash. Is it better off to buy another new fully upgraded Mac or go the Custom PC route?

Cost no object, I'd go with a very powerful Windows machine with multiple GPUs.

Windows for sure, check out a new AMD Ryzen 7 1800X system, it will smoke any mac ever made by 2x for $1500 bucks.
