Jarred posted an internal 120fps piece this summer. http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?59527-Scarlet-8x-internal-120FPS-test
The resolution of that video is 1024x510, which is the same horizontal dimensions of 1K footage. Is it a pretty safe bet we saw the quality/resolution of Scarlet-X's 120fps mode? (Hopefully the banding/artifacts were caused by the Prores LT compression)
If so, I could see myself using that no problem in 720p delivery... possibly even 1080p deliveries with a little Instant HD action. (http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/products/all/magic-bullet-instant-hd/)
