Here is our unboxing video!

December 5, 2011

When I walked into RED Irvine, I was greeted by my REP with our SCARLET #66 in hand. It was a GREAT feeling having my brother come with me to film the unboxing right then and there. (video soon to come)

I think I know why people with SCARLETS aren't posting many photos/videos. They simply are just too busy. When I got the call that the SCARLET was ready, I didn't rush to pick it up because I was busy on shoots. I'm guessing many other SCARLET owners are finding a hard time to get anything up because they are busy shooting/editing. I'll definitely have more stuff to post this week. But not for at least a couple of days. But I'll try to share as much as I can.

[Antoine MARTEAU]

Bravo!

Thanks for sharing!
Happy shootings!

Antoine

[Joel Arvidsson]

Thanks for posting. The most important is not that you post clips. It is just nice to se Scarlets going out to their new owners!

[Stefan Antonescu]

Congrats !

[Patrick Tresch]

Congrats!!!

Congrats for your Scarlet 66!

Sanjin,

I love your avatar. You are a risktaker... Aren't you afraid to be sued by two companies?

Pat

Pat,

it's just an avatar at the forum and nothing else more.

Means it's not any sort of new brand, trademark, logo or whatever...

Also it looks like as a kind of provocation for something to think about or it's simply just a great idea...

Actually it's a fun...and coming up from a fun boy...

[Malvin Ng]

Congrats on getting your Scarlet

Nice serial number too

[Patrick Tong]

Congratulations

[Chris Luker]

WOW! Thanks a lot for the hospitality guys. Makes me feel really special. I'm very happy to be a part of the RED family now!

Thank you Sergio, I couldn't believe the number when I saw it either. You still can't wipe the smile off my face.

Congratulations, i'm happy for you. you can be proud for this awesome number! thanks for sharing and enjoy it!

Thanks Adam. I've SERIOUSLY thought about attending REDucation. I'll actually be there tomorrow for the Open House. But there is a VERY good chance I'll be attending the next REDucation in Los Angeles.

Congrats Anthony, welcome to the family.

BTW, If you get the chance to take Reducation, DO IT. You'll won't ever leave there the same.

Thank you Gary! I wish I was able to take it with me on today's shoot, but I don't have a side handle yet and the ViewFinder APU battery pack that Brook sells is on back order as well. I have SCARLET in hand and I can't even run with it. It would be hard to operate for me since I rely on batteries all the time.

Congratulations Anthony - Always good to see another Scarlet out in the wild And even better that you've managed to keep yourself occupied while you patiently wait

In the unboxing video, I bring my family with me. I'm actually filming the unboxing with my one year old nephew in my right arm. Have a wonderful holiday season. I know I will be.

Cheers Anthony! Merry Christmas..! Don't forget to spend some time with your family ;-)

And the Canon mount is black. I think I've seen them some shiny silver before, but I could be wrong. I am very happy that it's a matte black.

Updated my friend. Thanks!
