I just wanted to take a minute and post about how awesome Eric and the gang at Kessler Crane are. They are one of those companies that will bend over backwards for you and it has made me loyal customer. Plus, all there products kick ass! Sort of like Red I guess. I see a lot of similarities with the way they do business and the customer base it creates. For some reason you just believe these guys are doing something special... and they are. I also think Kessler's products are going to go nicely with the new Epic and Scarlet systems :) So, if you are in the market for a high quality jib, dolly, slider, or shuttle pod give them a look. Thanks.

Eric is one of the best people in this business. And his gear is awesome.

Ya, Kessler really is great. I've been using their products for 4 years now. I currently own a 8ft Crane (+ short tip), K-Pod, and the Pocket Dolly and they all perform flawlessly. I am looking forward to adding the oracle controller and accessories to my systems.

Really?

All the nuts and bolts on my kpod have rusted... Same with any knob or bolt on my Hercules head... Compared to all my other grip they seem to be in the worst shape after only two years. My miller, manfrotto, and longvalley gear are all as new.

80% of my work is on location and I keep my grip in the belly/basement of my motorhome.... Weather sealed, but not climate controlled.

I had a pocket dolly for a while as well.... It was decent.... But sold it t get a dana dolly which is much better suited for the red one.

I'm not trying to be to harsh on Kessler.... Just honest

Definitely agree that their gear is quality and their support is top notch.

I have the remote head and the controller and I love them! Eric was really nice in answering some of questions personally. I'd definitely buy more gear from them.

Chris, I am sorry for the rusty bolts on the K-pod. We started using stainless steel fasteners a little over a year ago to prevent this from happening. As always Kessler products have a lifetime warranty so you can either send it to us for free upgrading or you can email me the details and I will send you all the new nuts, bolts ect. And yes you are correct in saying the pocket dolly is not a proper tool for Red. Our Cineslider or shuttle pod would be a better fit. My email is eric@kesslercrane.com and my cell number is 574-315-9814 so feel free to call me any time form 8am to 12pm est so we can get your K-pod and Hercules head taken care of.

Thanks Eric,

Notice I never said anything negative about the support, ordering process, or design and concept of your products.... Just the parts that I'm sure in studio situations would be fine. I was just being honest.... But my point is now mute as you are ahead of me with the revisions made to your product line. Hopefully I have not lost you any sales.... And instead reaffirmed what others here are saying about what a stellar company you have.

Thank you for reaching out and offering to replace the nuts and bolts that mother earth is taking back. I'm on the road for a few weeks in the appalachian mountains on a project, but will take you up on your offer to send me some revised SS parts.

That is really some very good support, I was looking at industrial sliders before from www.igus.de (made in germany) panther used these kinds bevore in some products. But it needs a lot of work and you'll end with quite a bill.
The sliders from kessler are so much cheaper (very cheap compared), and with this support..I'll have to rethink it.:001_smile:

Eric and Chris at Kessler have helped our company, Next Level Pictures, out in endless ways. Their support over the past year has been absolutely phenomenal and their products are top notch. We travel a decent amount for work and I must say, even when we are overseas, they still do everything they can to help us and our productions. Kessler fo' lyfe!

Wow, that was fast, Unfortunately I already have a slider from Kessler. But I highly recommend for anyone interest in the group buy.

Yeah, its great to see this level of commitment to our Community from Manufacturers of great gear such as
Kessler Crane, thanks again guys to make this happen ;)
