  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Test Pilot volunteer:
I have logged 1200+ hours, fixed wing, FAA, IFR (instrument rating for night flying), etc.

We own six (6) Red Ones, have Sekonic & Minolta color meters, have tungsten lights from 100 watts up to 20,000 watts, etc.

We have a first 3D Stere RED Movie shot in China last October, release this Summer
We may serve another 3D Stereo RED movie with Vfx next month in Thailand

I would like to see how we could imporve for the best match the color of the 2 camera, especially after we gone through a beam-splitter. Also could we do something to deal with a stop loss of light in one of the camera.

Jim, Stuart, et all, I would be interested. I have access to a large inventory of tungsten lights, so this is important to me. I do have a shoot starting next week for 4 days, but after that, I have some down time to test. Let me know.

Hey Percy,

there has to be something related about flying planes and flying Reds! I did not get my rotary rating as I could not afford it then.

It was my honor to also be a presentor at the Directors Guild a few weeks ago. You presented 3D, I did Red One 4K and Ultra High Speed filming at 5,000 FPS and beyond.

Keep your imagination and Reds flying!
