  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Teradek Bolt first hands on / Delay test

I wonder how this fairs compared to the Paralinx Arrow.
The price is $700 more than the Arrow but you get HDSDI instead of HDMI and you also get a powering solution as the Bolt has built in rechargeable batteries plus Lomo power support and multi receiver support.

Its pretty tempting I must say.

Something coming soon ...

Ah, that would "from whom" sir, and when I can tell you I will. ;-)

Have you seen the price on additional receivers? Looks like $1600 from B&H!!!!!! Almost the same as the full kit.
This is insulting, they know everyone will use mutiple receivers- that's the catch. Loss leader basic system and overpriced peripherals.
Sad, sad, sad....:nono:

OptiTek,

I've looked on B&H and I don't see them selling additional add-on receivers anywhere. They have prices for two options: a 1 Receiver bundle or a 2 Receiver bundle.

The prices differ from our website currently because all of our pre-order clients were able to purchase a 1Tx+1Rx system for $1990, or a 1Tx+2Rx system for $2990.

Additional receivers do not have a price at this time simply because we are selling Bolt systems as packages. I can say with confidence that any additional receiver will be somewhere between $1190 - $1290. Again, this is not official since we haven't begun shipping add-on receivers.

The prices on B&H right now are not 100% correct. After the pre-order is over this week, the public can buy a 1Tx+1Rx system for $2490 & a 1Tx+2Rx system for $3590.

Hope this clears some things up.

My apologies, I assumed the BH price was correct.
That is $3590 for two receivers- exactly $1600 more....

Right, so the 2 Receiver option on B&H also includes the transmitter. Think about it this way:

Tx: $1200
2Rx: $2400 ($1200 + $1200)
Total: $3600, which is basically what B&H has.

Now the prices I listed above aren't exactly how each unit individually costs, but you get the idea :)

What kind of logic is this?
If one transmitter/receiver kit costs $2000 and the additional receiver is $1200 that should amount to 3200 not 3600.
Some wacky math you guys are using..:wink5:

You are missing the part where he said PRE ORDER clients. $2k isn't the price anymore for a transmitter and receiver, it's $2400.
