  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey, I just got an email from Ted, wanting me to let everyone here on the forum that the SCARLET prototype will be shown at CES in Vegas this weekend...

Just a heads up, I'm at CES In Vegas this week, I've got a few press meets later in the week - I'm going to do some sneak, guerrilla style looks at impromptu locations at the Scarlet Prototype with a Mini Prime lens and for anyone that's interested and in town to see it, so if you want to make a mention on Scarlet User and REDuser that we touched base today while I was on the road to Vegas, and let the crowd that follows you online know I'm here at CES, RED style to show some stuff in guerrilla fashion, I'm all for it :-)

A buddy of mine that has a big twitter following, is tweeting about it and will let people know the locations for the show and tells (looks like there will be one late tonight) His twitter is: @1timstreet if you want to follow him, or tell others to follow him.

I'm surprised to say I didn't see anything in the background until just now, and I first saw the pictures last night! I can't wait till RED makes their way to the east coast with these prototype units!

Wish i could attend to the place, especially if the beast is in working order!
 
I missed it last night due to a gear run. Any word on tonight? or better yet Friday. Today is manic!

I hear that, after living in Vegas since 95 and working a piece of CES since 2003, I am sad to say, this is the first year I am living in MASS =(

Back when I was the production manager of an IPTV company we used to travel to CES, CeBIT, Computex, Leipzig, TGS....man I love being freelance but miss travelling around the world looking at cool stuff way before it comes out. I feel you Chad...I feel you.
