Hello.

Last Week end I have done a short film test where we used Ambient clockit to feed TC to the REDONE. When jam synched with the lemo connector the camera was updating the TC in the LCD 1 second later than what was on the Clockit screen (wich was not the case with the Sonosax Minir nd sourecorder). We also recorded the TC on the sound track1. Will see if there is any difference with the slate/soundtrack1TC (Build BETA 14). Has any one made TC tests with REDONE? What where you findings?

Why isn t possible to record sound with 1/25 th (shutter speed) in a 25p project. I understand that camera enters varispeed mode (wich doesn t support sound) when different frame rate are used but 1/25th should IMHO be supported like in other cameras...

Thanks

Pat

Tresch, on issue 1. check the actual recorded files and I think that you will not see a timecode error, its just an apparent delay in timecode display to the LCD. We know that many projects have worked successfully in this configuration.

On issue 2. it sounds like you are NOT in a 25 fps Project (maybe in a 23.98 project) and have Varispeed enabled at 25 fps - then this would be true. So check that the SYSTEM / PROJECT / CONFIGURATION is set to 25.00 fps. I'll verify this on Build 14 and 15 later this morning.
