Have anyone else have had problems with premiere 5.5 reading wave timecode???? i shot a project with separate audio and i cannot merge clips since there isnt a proper reading of the timecode recorded into the audio files...

i have read that it happened before... i'll be extremely greatfull if anyone has inputs about the subject

thanks

I've had similar problems before with this as well. It seems the only way I could get it to work was importing all the audio files into premiere and immediately start syncing everything. Once I'd save my project and close down Premiere all the timecode in the audio files would reset to 00:00:00;00 but my merged clips would stay in sync. Give that a try. Other than that I'm not sure if there are other work arounds for this.

search for *.ims files and delete those. We are still trying to figure out exactly why this happens but it is rare.

Cheers

Dave
