Tape Workflow? (not quite dead)

I have feeling that I'm going to irk a few people (namely the solid-state media fan base) with this question...

Is Red going to offer some sort of tape back for a workflow that still uses/needs to output to video tape? Is anything like that on the proverbial horizon?

I'm asking because I wonder if this camera could work for an ENG camera operator who does freelance work; i.e. someone who records on location and must hand the footage off to a producer, right there on the spot.

My guess is you'll never see a tape solution from Red. The HD-SDI ports will support tape recording via a tether, of course - but that brings it's own downsides (namely the tether!)...

This has been discussed at length here in the past, so if you search around you should find a ton of information and a fair few arguments!
