we are going for the tangent devices new wave pannel to use with our speedgrade XR....

Anybody using this pannel?? Any advices??

Thanks,

Not the wave, but we do use the CP100 and CP200, what I can say Tangent products are vgreat to use and the company is very helpful if support is needed.

I've had the Tangent Wave in my hands almost half a year ago. It's been a prototype and had a kind of Mattel toy feel.

AFAIK, they are reworking the Wave. The CP200 is an excellent build and well working device. If I would build a new CC-suite I would go for the CP-200 and spend the additionally 3K (EUR) that the bigger brother costs. You won't regret it.

SpeedGrade actually is working very well with the CP-200.

Wave plastics are being re-done Tangent not happy. Also with some other stuff..

Until it's out no-one can say what it will/won't work with.

Agree with Hans on the 200. But if budget is limited or you require for on-set and you have time may be worth waiting. New moulds due anytime now so fingers crossed.

Hey guys....

Thank you for your suggestions the Cp200 BK seems to be the one for color grading....

Pockets will be just empty after buying it!

Cheers

By the way I am in Brazil..do you think that buying in Europe is better than in the USA?

If yes where can I buy it for a good price?

Thanks again!

what about JL cooper pannels?

what about JL cooper pannels?

I find the Cooper panels akward and ugly. Apart from that they work well. A friend of mine owns them and badly wants to replace them with a full set Tangent CP-200 modules, just waiting to have the 12k been safed. The CP-200 modules look much nicer, have a wider functionality and you can countersink them into a desk - very slick.

Thanks Edgar and Hans!

I'm taking the cp200 BK since our priority is color grading.

Wich pannel is a good option for a later upgrade? Cp200 K or cp200 Ts ?

Cheers
