Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3???? on Epic

Just a quick update.

Had one of these on my Scarlet for a shoot last week, aperture control is weird, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, we ended up putting it on a dslr, setting it to F8, then use it on the Red like that the rest of the shoot, the aperture seems to stick to the same f stop even after changing cameras.

As for the image stabilization (VC) it's still not working sadly.

I gotta admit though, the image coming out of this lens on a Scarlet is pretty sweet, not on the same level as say the Canon 400mm, but not that far either in my opinion. Great choice at this price, just needs the VC working.

Recently tried this lens on an Epic with updated firmware. I was able to adjust f-stop but only for a few minutes, then the lens needed to be detached and remounted. The exposure would become "frozen" after a few minutes of use. Better than having to use a Canon to set exposure and transfer to the RED but still not ideal.
