Some shots from my shoot in "Nov 2007"...

There's also this airlines ad (Qatar Airways?) which I saw on CNN and it had a fleeting glimpse of the Taj Hotel. They played it in between the Breaking News of the Mumbai Terror Attacks. Very sad what's happening in Mumbai.

OT but I think CNN and other networks are really sensationalizing news with their music and heavy graphics. Even their reporters are being projected as stars. IMO news should be presented as news not what looks like a movie trailer. My opinion.

totally agree... CNN has become too dramatic... and well.. ive seen some bbc/cnn news anchors who've started to state their "opinions" when giving headline news... i mean.. seriously WTF? and even when they arent, the way they present news is like all dramatized now.. its so f-d up. It's like.. the news agencies have no respect for presenting honest news... and are now totally admitting to dramatization just to make money.. and people watch and beleive that shit. It's like... World wrestling fed going WWEntertainment.

I agree as well. Newspapers were best at reporting news, but they are going by the wayside. Even Internet News is becoming video-ized. Maybe someday a computer will verbalize the news and there will be no slant to it.

I only watch ITN these days (ITV and Channel 4 in the UK). BBC seems so insulating through absence of stories and Sky is just too sensational and right wing – great production values though. :ranting2:

So sad, this is surely India's 9/11. My heart goes out to everyone effected in any way

didn't get the footage of these shots yet!

I am too sad. I think we should all have a strong commitment against any form of intolerance. Lack of respect against each other is a seed of violence. Religion can be one of the most beautiful pictures we can live. Not that. It's precisely its opposite. I'm sorry but I've still been shocked with all this -- the true face of blasphemy itself.

We cannot be mere spectators. I, for once, have began an international project series related to, with which I'm involved. We cannot stay silent in the face of this recent outrages against mankind. Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Agnostics, Atheists, does it matter? It does, without respect for your brother.

Yes Emanuel these grotesk acts of violence must come to an end...One way...Or another.

DogDay.

It's remarks like these... If you don't like the 'damn' chantings then don't listen.

Oh give him a break, sometimes it's difficult to get away from it. For instance some of the calls to prayer from mosques I like, some I didn't and drove me a bit nutty but that was Pakistan. India is definitely an attack on the senses from all fronts but I love that. You can go from frenetic lunacy to calm in a beat.

On another note I had lunch at Indigo next to the Taj a few days after the attack and then popped into Leopold's where I believe gunmen went in and shot people. Leopold's was rammed as no-one gave a damn. It was a good thing to see.

Try living near London Fields in Hackney (UK), the church has some kind of electric bell. Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! for a whole fucking hour on Sundays, just when you want a fucking lie in. :angry03:

Good to know people didn't give a damn. Otherwise the terrorists would have 'won'. I miss Mumbai. Hope to be there soon. Cheers.
