Just got this lens in the mail from a Russian ebay seller for $300. Made in 1990 in the USSR. Anyone used it on Epic?

I use it a lot on my Sony A7R, it's a beautiful lens. I have a serial from 90x too – we were lucky if ours are good, since quality controls net down considerably in the end of the communist era. Mines is, but normally I try to get Russian lenses from earlier years. My Jupiter-9 is early 60s, nearly as old as I am and it's just great!

That's interesting, I've always tried to buy Lomos from the late 80s/ early 90s because of the better build quality.

I love mine. It's a fantastic lens. I am on a mission to get somebody to rehouse it.

Michael - that lens looks amazing! Could you please share any still pics shot with it on the RED? I would really appreciate it...

Hey Peter,

I used it for all of the racing shots in this piece:

Love this lens! Thanks for recommending it to me, Nick Gardner.

Was this shot on Dragon? What lenses was the rest shot of it shot with?
Thanks for sharing,
Tim

Thanks Timothy. This was Epic MX. As I recall, I used my 22mm and 35mm Lomo Superspeed, along with the Tair 135mm.
