Tactical Top Plate 2.0 with Top Fan upgrade

Hi,

Just received the new tactical top plate (2.0) from RED

I already the new top fan (red color) and the new larger plastic cover

Do I need to remove the cover in order to fit the new plate?

Thanks for your help

PS: I read the instructions on RED support site but still not sure...

You have to remove the plastic cover to use any top plate.
