I have three questions. Can I edit Red footage shoot at 2k in FCP 6.0.5 with an 8 core Intel 3.0 with 8g of Ram?. I have 2 internal 1TB HD where the media is going to go to. My other question is, I have seeing I lot of people talk about editing the proxies as an offline edit. How exactly does this work after editing the proxies I want the 2k files to replace the proxies?. Go online. I guess editing with the proxies make it easy on your system. I have to edit a 3 min piece that I need it to end up at 1920 by 1080. My last question is what is the best workflow for After effects? I am new to all this. thanks
