Has there been any talk about whether or not they'll be a feature to make it easy to sync timecode.
I'm just dreaming about the possibilities of having 3-4 of these cameras to shoot concerts! It pretty much appears (to me at least) to be the ideal camera for that type of work. Small and lightweight, yet has a large enough sensor for those lighting situations, compact flash recording... maybe a longer zoom on the lens might help... but still. The only thing I wonder is if it will be able to quickly sync up timecode, kinda like the HVX's feature where just by using a firewire cable you're all set up.
I guess the CMOS sensor could cause rolling shutter problems if there's crazy lighting going on, but I don't think that would be a huge issue.
at less than 3 grand a pop, i can't see a better option in the coming years... sound isn't a real issue because you are just getting that off the board anyway...
