Hello,
How can I sync in redcine the picture with the audio, using auto-match function, BUT:
I have to mention that the sound tracks are recorded on separate WAV files (if I have 3 tracks, my take will have 3 separate mono WAV files, but all of them with the same timecode, that is in sync with the camera).

I tried with automatch but seems to use only one file (that is "_T1", being by default the boom) not all of them....so I loose some lavaliere or other sources.....:(

anyone ?
thanks a lot.

RCX only supports syncing with a single external audio file, and you can have upto 8 tracks within that one audio file.

One option is to combine the audio files into a single BWF file with another application and link against that one file in RCX.

Thanks mathew, I'll check with the editor if it's fine for him.
best !

If this was recorded using a Sound Devices machine they have software to combine/split .wav files.

indeed. I checked with the sound engineer and he will provide me polyphonic files.
I was just curious if there is a way in redcine, as we make transcoding to dailies few times per day, so time it's critical.....efficiency should be at its place :)

thanks guys!
