I’m trying to figure out if I can change this camera from a live system to a regular recording system. I believe this was built for a live streaming company.

A few days ago Jarred (former President of RED) offered these cameras "as-is" on IG and Facebook forums. He stated these are a custom build that lacked certain electronics to convert them to RED's DSMC2 Helium and/or Monstro cameras. They were made for a specific reason with firmware locked for streaming and can not be converted. He warned those who were interested in purchasing these cameras, that "RED will NOT change or convert them for any reason. So, don't ask."

Therefore, if you have purchased one or more, you are stuck with them in streaming only mode.
