Swit batteries on an IDX charger ?

Does anyone know if the V-mount Swit batteries (8161S) can be charged on an IDX charger ?

Swit 8172S work fine on IDX chargers in practice. We do this al the time. This is not a recommendation though, I have no idea what manufacturers say so proceed at your own risk.

works fine - this stuff is usually cross-compatible (we often charge GlobalMedia on IDX e.g.)...
best practice is still to use original chargers - especially if they have the electronics to do diagnosis and deep-discharging (it's recommended to do so from time to time to avoid faster wear-out levels).

Not the most convenient way but you asked for cheap, so why not going the mini-charger route (they're currently on discount);
