Swat Rail in L shape

The more I look the Swat Rail accessory the more I think it could fit with HDSLR.

I know it's not RED policy to make gear for other camera type, but the swat rail can be mount on the top of a DSLR with the flash mount/ 1/4 20 threat.

It could be great to have a L shape Swat Rail where you could fit some clamp, rosette... not only for DSLR but Epic and Scalet.

That's a lot of pressure on the hot shoe. It wouldn't last very long/.

The Swat . NATO / Picatinny rail standard is from the munitions industry and has been around for some time. There's tons of stuff out there and I bet you could find something like this if you searched a bit. For instance, here's a $10 handgrip it took me 30 seconds to find. Might be nice on the Gunner.

Scary rendering. As Bob said above, you definitely do not want to put that kind of weight/pressure on a hot shoe type mount.
