I plan on swapping a lot between a Revolva PL mount (on real jobs) and an Leica M mount (on fun jobs for my voitlander nocts when pulling my own sharps).

There are two support options for the Revolva. Kipperties own chinstrap and the bright tangerine support. Which do you think will be more conducive to swapping mounts regularly and am I missing any other options?

The single screw mount will be easier than the chin strap. For me to remove the mount from the chin strap I need to remove the bottom part of the chinstrap first which means loosening all bolts. That said the chin strap is great, just takes a bit longer and requires the proper tools.

I have both, you can totally go faster with the bright tangerine system and it’s more adaptable. Plus it’s supported from the top and not just the bottom.

You ultimately have to go through the same steps either way tho, as you gotta do the screws in the right order to get the mount tensioned right. Only differences would be chin strap would require removing 6 screws (4 on sides, 2 on bottom to mount) vs 5 screws (3 on front 2 on bottom of mount). The more significant difference is with the bright tangerine, you can still leave anything else mounted to your camera like handles and such. With the chin strap you would be removing them.

To me the bright tangerine setup was totally worth it. Especially since it can also support the .71 EF adapter from the c70 :P
