Yes they will be different and there are different parameters that you can adjust in both the DVNR and the DVO in order to get the optimum reduction for both Film Grain and Electronic Noise.

I've taken a look a couple of looks at DV's Filmaster and the DVNR tools seem very good. I'm sure DV would help people use them to target 'Red type' blue channel shadow noise.
