Last weekend a feature film - Obselidia - I shot on the Red One camera won the Excellence in Cinematography award at Sundance. I believe this is the first Cinematography award for a film shot on Red at Sundance.

Variety:

Zak Mulligan's lensing with the Red camera system is shimmeringly luminous as well as vigorously agile and was a deserved recipient of the Sundance cinematography award.

I'd love to hear what you all think!

Special thanks to Jim and the Red team.

Thanks

Zak, a thousand, thousand congratulations to you, Diane and everyone involved. Completely deserved - a beautiful movie from any and all perspectives.

Great!

Congrats!!!

Much much better than most of the works I have seen that many of so called "upcoming cinematographers"

or "great new cinematographer talents" tried to show, sorry, not more than an ordinary "crap" or BS, here at the forum...

Even one of "our favorite" US desert is involved there...

Gorgeous...
