I have made this shot (Scarlet MX) for a tv documentary and made my own experiment on it (2.35 ratio, grading, music choice and little sound design).

I was wondering if the sun exposure at the end was good to you. It seems I loose a lot of details in the sky but if I under-expose the shot I loose a lot of the " orange light " too, how do you handle this kind of situation ? Maybe it's just a matter of taste. Thanks for your input!

Perhaps there is a way to key frame the grading to balance it out. Or use some power windows.

Thanks for your advice. I think I don't know how to explain myself, it's not so much about tech but more about " Is it okay to let so much white around the sun ? ".

I made a new version of the sun with some iso 80 (The shot is 800 ISO) on top with mask and color correction :

Thanks again.
