This is what I own and use extensively:
EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II
Great zoom in the wide angle, covering the entire 35mm ftrame (on RED/Birger will use its suitest spot, the center frame), this lens has greaty improved from the MARK I, and does close to as good as the famous EF 35mm f/1.4L.
EF 24-70mm f/2.8L
Great lens, especially on a cropped sensor such as my 1D MARK III and so on the RED, but aslo great on FF, this lens produces some of the most looked after 3D fill to its images, fantastic for portrait photography, sharp and fast.
EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS
This is the single most used lens among all type of photographers world wide, and for a good reason, it is a very sharp lens, some argue that because of its numerous glass elements it is less sharp then the non IS version, I found not to be the case, this lens is very fast and responsive on both cropped sensors and FF cameras, and produces images pleasing and you will find mant and I say many keepers in your shoots then with any other lens.
EF 35mm f/1.4L
I recently sold this lens as I purchased the incredible new 16-35 above and found no reason to keep both, yes the faster prime will shine on low light no doubt, anyway this prime it is been one of the most admired lenses in its range and unchallenged by any other lens Canon has produced for years, now comes the 16-35 MII, but this prime again remaines a favorite for low light solution, it is very fast and very sharp lens.
EF 50mm f/1.2L
This lens is among my favorite lenses, it is very fast and sharp, and even so many argue the need to spend the extra G against the cheap and good EF 50mm 1.4, I found that this lens and its speed is in a world of its own as far as DOF in the 50mm range.
EF 85mm f/1.2L II
This lens is hands down my favorite lens of all, it is not as fast as the smaller EF 50mm f/1.4 or the EF 85mm f1.8, but what lucks in speed because of its tremendous glass size, it makes up with its looks, its images are simply WOW. Wide open this lens is the king of portrait photography or any subject that needs complete isolation from the bakground.
EF 135mm f/2.0L
This lens is fast and incredibly sharp, it does even a better job when coupled with the 1.4 extended MII, the images especially in portrait photography are not as incredibly sharp with this extender and many models like it better as well.
EF 200mm f/2.8L II
This lens is the a great one and fast for its range with sharp images and the obvious capacity to isolate the subject from up close in the limits of focus range especially when used with an extension tube, allowing to get closer to the subject and getting a better Blur.
Soon to be tested on the RED/Birger I'm positive this lenses will shine and at 4K they will be put to the test.
When my 1Ds MARK III arrives will put this lenses to the test as well as not only this camera being FF will use the full spectrum of this lenses but at about 22mp will test the resolving capacity as well considering that images out of the 1Ds MIII can generate 100mb TIFF's.
