My brother Ben Deka, and I were both DPs on it, as well as colorists and VFX supervisors... It was our first project in the Stats (shot in Pontiac, MI), since we're coming from France.

Main photography shot on RED-M, pick up shot on RED-MX. Additional mosquitos' POV shot on 5DmarkII.

Edited by Steven Eckelberry on Premiere Pro CS4 and CS5
(check out the Adobe review: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/showcase/index.cfm?event=casestudydetail&casestudyid=1088090&loc=en_us)

Ben and I used Adobe After Effects CS5 as our primary tool for both VFX and Color Grading, all done in the same pass. Computer generated mosquitos were animated by Alexander Brown from Scientificaly Proven.

Camera operator (Red owner): Patrick Elliott
1st AC / Focus puller: Geoff George
2nd AC: Drew Dawson
