What workflow models have the successful major features used? Have any used final cut, avid, scratch etc?

What files did they convert to from redcine/redalert for editing preparation?

DPX, TIFF?

My question is, has ANYBODY been able to convert to quicktime (prores etc) without having the quicktme gamma issue? If so how was it achieved?
(An issue that was encountered yesterday was as follows - prores is viewed fine in quicktime AND final cut, however ALL output to monitors had black lever raised by 10% - thi was on a mac pro quad).

In your opinon what is the ost effective workflow model for a NON-SCRATCH system?

All opinions are helpful, especially those from RED staff!

Many thanks

-Ivan
