I saw SUBMARINE (2011) last night for the first time, directed by Richard Ayoade. Overall, I thought it was extremely entertaining and a great film. Not shot on RED, I believe it was 35mm film.

The cinematography also caught my attention, very nicely done - in some shots the bokeh reminded me of Canon K35's. In other shots, I could tell it was a 8-blade lens.. probably vintage too. Anyone know what lenses this film was shot on ??

Great film, check it out if you havent already.

When I watched this film, I immediately thought it was my new favorite. Absolutely loved every bit of it. The man is a genius with words.

Had seen at least one other reference to the 2C being used on Submarine.

Found this picture along the way...

Nice find Brian. I can sort of make out a Kowa cine prominar prime lens on the cam... the dashed paint is a giveaway.
