I have a 45 minute interview that I need to select 6 subclips from. I am using REDAlert and Redrushes. Obviously you can only set one set of in and out points at a time with REDAlert.

I am editing Prores 1920X1080 on the timeline and for various reasons this can't be changed. My R3D's are 2K.

All this would be easy in Log and Transfer but it doesn't resize. Or is there a way to set it up to do that?

If not is there a method I could use to sublip the R3D's without having to set in and outs, transcode in Redrushes, and then set new ins and outs and transcode again etc. I'd like to be able to just add all the subclips to the REDrushes transcode list just repeating the same R3D with new in and outs.

I know I could just transcode the whole interview and subclip in Final Cut but if there is another way that would save me some hard drive space that would be better.

Is there a way to do this? Clipfinder? or some another program?

You can transcode to ProRes in L&T, an you can set in- and out-points (but only one subclip at a time).
