what do you guys want?

Apple Workflow
Avid Workflow
Scratch Workflow

???

I would suggest for the NLE category that there be a sub-category for the three As. Adobe, Apple & Avid.

Possibly change the title of the forum to not just 4k workflow but all workflows.

I think it should be separated into two forums, Mac Workflow and PC Workflow on the main page, as opposed to being sub-forums.

That would be fine, but I think it's easier to find information if the forums are NLE specific. If I'm looking for Final Cut info, I don't need to sift through Avid or Premiere info to get to it.

How about "Editorial Workflow" (i.e., Apple, Avid, etc.) and "DI/Finishing/Delivery Workflow" (Scratch, etc.)? They're not necessarily the same, and they often have different needs and different places in the process.

I think every platform needs its own sub forum.

+
stickies of general workflow info for each platform

I'm putting my vote in for an Adobe sub forum. They are starting to overcome the less than stellar reputation they (maybe rightly) held up until Premiere Pro was released. With them going cross platform... I'm thinking that they have a serious platform and would keep a sub forum well populated.

Especially if they got off their butts and gave us native support of .r3d files.

Lots of people planning to use Adobe software with RED. I'm considering it myself since it's cross platform. We definitely need an Adobe workflow forum.
