  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Stunning sequence by Alfonso Cuarón

I believe the entire feature has only a handful of cuts. The first shot is something like 17 minutes. Mind you, it is almost all CGI, with only the actor's faces as real visual elements.

This could very well be the defining movie for IMAX 3D.

I see..thanks for posting. If you push something so far as a concept for the entire movie it may very well work or if not
at least it's an interesting experiment. The CGI here bothers me...unlike 2001...it just feels way too unreal.

I love Alfonso and this shot is beautiful, but considering it is almost all CG, it doesn't amaze me as much as Children of Men.

But, I will hold my tongue until I see some behind the scenes on how they were able to do the shot. Maybe it is just as impressive and choreographed as Children of Men.
