  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Stuck Pixel?

This is my Scarlet MX. So far I've upgraded the firmware and of course black shaded, but still have this white dot. Any ideas?

Is that in the actual footage (on playback on your computer) or in the monitor? Make sure when black shading to do it with the body cap on. You could also try reloading firmware then re black shade. Don't know if that will help or not, but worth a shot.

It can also be a particle in the OLPF. That is what happened to me when i had the skinetone OLPF, i saw what seemed to be a dead pixel, but when i changed it to the LOW LIGHT, it wasn't there. It is really hard to take all those particles off the OLPF.

Try multiple blackshades - at least 2 and verify again. The bad pixel might not have been remapped. I had a blue pixel the other day and I got rid of it that way. If it doesn't go away you might have to send to RED.

Is it 1/2 resolution? Looks really low-res, and I've seen a hot pixel crop up only when at 1/2 debayer before.

Also, make sure you're enabling the right black shade after doing it the procedure.
