  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My connection kept dropping it (you should have a partial file on the server) - I got the new 8 core but the extreme card has some problem - it keeps dropping the wireless and I don't have a hardwire to this room.

I will see if I can get it tonight - but I multiple housing projects going on so haven't had much time.

Chris if you send me your physical address I will send a DVD (no charge) in case I don't get it to your server and you can upload or just copy it to the server. Priority mail should get it there by the weekend. George (status) had to go out of town for a couple days so I don't think he got it uploaded either.
 
Can you at least upload a 720p or 1080p version, so we don't have to download the 2gig file and be able to see the results?
 
If you are using Fetch, Filezilla or SmartFTP, all of those have "Resume" functions so if you drop the connection you can simply pick up where you left off. I've PMed you my address just in case.

Yep its always good to use some ftp soft that can continue with broken uploading especialy at 2GB files.
 
Well I was supposedly sent a disc with the data file on it but it hasn't come. i ordered something the same day it was sent and what I ordered already came in.

I have a partial R3D on the RedRelay upload, but that won't do any good.
 
Okay. I got the disc yesterday. I'm uploading the R3Ds now. They will be available tomorrow!

Chris, sorry when I sent out a couple discs to sanjin and others I copied the next file rather than the launch file.

Just so people know. When you do a long take, the camera breaks the shot up into 2K files and since we let this run for about 10 minutes it was 7 or 8 files for the one shot and REDALERT confused me on the actual name/number of the file.

I think I got you the right one on this second go around so thanks Chris.
 
I just watched the STS122 Launch R3D file in Redcine and it looks amazing!
