Thanks for your expertise Robert. I just hired a team (mua/hair/styling/model) to shoot a few of these in NYC the past weekend. Looking to improve upon what I have in this current one. As far as your learning curve - did you study under someone or was it mostly trial/error/studying on your own? If you're ever in NYC I would love to be on one of your shoots as an assistant if you are open to that

We don't shoot in NYC a lot - too expensive, permits tricky, but I'll keep you in mind.

I learned from film school, from apprenticing, from books, and also from trial and error. Each method has its plusses. I feel I still have a lot to learn.
