Had fun with my Epic last night shooting something for a contest. Used my RPP 50mm and the Filter Gallery blue streak filter for a few shots. Here is one shot sans filter then two with.

For those interested, I entered the Adams Arms photo contest. You can find my picture on their facebook page.

How much does this filter lower exposure? 1/2 stop? 1/4? 0? This is a physical filter right (not a plug-in)? Are all shots (the two) using the same strength? The middle one seems to be a lot stronger (too strong in my opinion) than the last one, where the streak is still blueish-white, but has some opacity.

I dont think it lowers exposure at all. This is a physical blue streak filter from The Filter Gallery, 1mm variety. Same strength, it just becomes more pronounced as the light hits the sensor more directly.

Just took 1st place with that 3rd image. Woohoo!
