here are some samples from our night shoot with the Dragon - the "bridge" image is interesting, showing, what you can do with a VERY dark set, using all tools (yes this is ADD, but where is the problem - i think you are not able to shoot this with many other cameras in a quite crisp native 6K frame ... saying this, with DEB, it´s even better (what you see is without DEB, all images are without DEB) - i will ask RED to post the workflow of this result - it was really dark here, but it is useable even on a 4K screen)

this stuff is graded with Da Vinci and some Photoshop, i will upload some R3D and would be interested, what you get out of the RAW - all tricks of grading are allowed, noone takes a Raw and throw this on a screen (sometimes i think some expect this when i read all the discussions here)
for me, it´s time to thank the RED team for this camera, Jarred Land, Graeme, ... Jim, ... i was a director and DP a lot of time and worked for commercials and television, earned good money, and i was bored someday. i decided to do my own thing, own company, i started at zero, with an old 16mm camera, a dvx 100 and hvx200 - and started 2007 / 2008 with R1 into the adventure of digital cinema, as i could not pay for 35mm with my first clients ... low budget stuff. Genesis, Arri D21, ... no chance. With Red, all changed. I don´t want to give too much honey here ... but RED is a big part of the success of me and my small but fine company. with all the harsh critics here in the last weeks, i want to say this to the RED team, i will support it now, and in future (and there are tons of projects in the pipeline for my company) - maybe some say we are kind of fanboys. why not.
