  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Strange magenta band

I had a vertical pink line appear on my Epic-X a month or so after I bought it. I sent it back to RED who told me there are two screws you remove and re-insert on the left side of the brain when bolting on the SSD unit and they claimed I put the longer screw into the shorter hole ... mmmm ... I am 100% sure I didn't because I read it in the manual.
Either way they fixed it, they claim the longer screw makes contact with a PCB in the brain. Now that doesn't sound like an ideal design to me... but I've never designed a camera either :-))
