Hi Guys,
I'm polishing off the grade on a short film shot in 5k on Epic Dragon, and am running into a bizarre gamma clipping issue with a single clip. Basically, with all of the same clip settings, raw settings and grading nodes applied, this one clip will not allow any element of the frame to rise above about 55 IRE on the waveform.
Here's how the rest of the scene looks:
And here's how this one clip is coming up:
If I try to bump up the levels via a contrast curve, we see the hard clipping at 55 IRE:
Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?
I had the problem come up initially in the previous version of v11 of Resolve, and I've moved to the Resolve v12 beta to see if that would help, but the problem persists in v12 too.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Mark
