  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

im currently transcoding a small feature film for avid offline editing shot on the new mx with metafuze 2.11 on a pc
im transcoding in eight good quality with a burn-in to a 1080p/25 project-and all is working perfectly .except some shots that have a very certain yellow hue that for some reason gets transcoded in to a purplish color.very weird .the R3d's look excellent and without the color shift - any ideas?
 
Yes. MF 2.1.1 does not support the MX color science yet. A forthcoming version of MF will support it. In the meantime, RedCine-X would be your best alternative.

but besides the small color shift in the that very certain yellow hue (which is'nt even present in all of the shots) there isn't seem to be any problem with the transcodes and the production doesn't mind it - they prefer to start working asap - is it ok or am i missing something else ?
