Hiya,
Would someone be able to point me in the right direction as far as Storage is concerned when editing with RED?
I have a Mac Pro with internal storage of around 300Gb (Which I am guessing is okay for scratch?) but I am looking to get a proper external storage solution.
I hear a lot of talk about SAN's or NAS's but they seem very pricey and would be outwith our buget (£1k-£2k). After a bit of research I found the Lacie 4big which looks ideal: Raid, over 1Tb of storage once raided, eSata connector):

would this be a good way to setup?
Also, am I right in thinking that eSata would be the best route for my budget?
