I think we had a thread of this but I could not find it so...

"Multiple Recording Media Options (Compact Flash, 1.8" SSD, RED Drives, RED RAM)
Is 1.8 ssd the same as the Red Ram but smaller? Which opitons is planed to be out on scarlet's release?
320GB HDD Red Drive
64GB Red Ram
1.8 ssd more info size? pictures? Would be so nice if you could fit it in the modular chain so you dont need the craddle to mount it?

Does reddrive let you work exactly like you do with a cf card? I mean so you can control it from the camera and dont ever have to go in to the "disk menus" like on a firestore. I guess not since red makes both devices and also i dont se any buttons on. But would be nice to be certan on this!/Joel

The Red Drive has moving parts so in some EXTREME conditions (like, let's say... base juming with the camera...) you might lose some frames.

so far details on the 1.8"SSD are very limited. it is a part of the modular system.

Ok thanks Andy, I guessed so since I got no answers. What about cf cards is it 2 types or just one?
