  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

STONELAND: a documentary film

Awesome doc, Todd. Great look at the heritage of the highland games.

One question: I keep experiencing this with YouTube; I can get at 4k in the dropdown in the link embedded in the post but can't make it full screen. Then when I go to YouTube via the "Watch in YouTube" button, it only lets me go up to 1440.
Any ideas on this?

Very nicely done and a great subject!

Thank you for the kind words Bill! That is an interesting situation you are describing. I'll have our team look at it to see if there is anything on there back end that would be doing that. We master in 4096 x 1728 to maintain the widescreen format so if viewed on an ultrawide monitor or TV it won't be letterboxed. Maybe there was an encoding issue. We'll dig into it.

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing Todd. My son and I visited Scotland for the first time in 2013 during a very stormy December. Loved it so much. We'll have to go back and look for some stones.

What a great experience that would have been, Barry! Thank you for watching the film and for your compliments! I hope you get back there together soon.

Nice stuff Todd!

I saw Rogue post this last week. Do you shoot for Rogue often? Big Crossfit fan / shooter here.

Thank you Corey. Yes. We have been fortunate to do so for many years. We do most all of the storytelling. Films (short and feature), commercials, portraits. It is a pretty amazing experience and we love to work with them.

CrossFit has been a fun culture to get involved with through Rogue. Do you film with CrossFit?
