Hi all,

I saw a red scarlet on ebay.

http://www.ebay.de/itm/RED-Cinema-C...Videocamere&hash=item23293f2726#ht_782wt_1167

The seller claims the camera to be in Italy, but now tells, it is in England.
He did send me an Image of the camera whereof you can see the serial number of the monitor !

As the Seller does not accept cash payment or paypal instead only accepts bank transfer, I wonder if this maybe "shady" business.
He also not gave me the serial number of the camera.

If someone has a camera stolen in Europe, then please contact me privately.

The Serioal number of the monitor is :

7301028D7BF4 (you can find this number on the papers that came with your camera its under the barcode of the delivery slip).

As I got my own camera stolen and found it on ebay, I am obviously sensitive not to go into any fraud // help others in the same situation.

I have further information. Please contact me pvt.

Thanks

Steffen

Sounds shady. I can't think of a legitimate reason for not providing the camera serial number (with photographic proof) to somebody who wants to actually buy his used camera.

well actually I bought it on ebay. Still need to find out if the seller is "real" and the camera not stolen !

Contact Red directly - they have a data base of stolen Red cameras. They should be able to confirm if it is stolen or not.

attention this method is frauduleuseil is not necessary especially to buy!
