Stolen gear forum.

There should be a stolen gear forum. This way they can all be on one place for people to cross reference serial numbers when buying used....

Unfortunately I suspect that most of the gear being stolen is being done by professional thiefs and the gear ends up overseas. But great idea.

Yea my cabrio is likely in Argentina, or India by now.....

I think that's a great idea. It's such a shame that we even have to consider opening such a forum, but it just happens too often. My RED EPIC-X DRAGON was stolen along with Zeiss lenses and all accessories from our offices back in October...Got them on camera (video surveillance), but there is no chance the police or border patrol will catch them. They were definitely pros.

Bad to hear your Cabrio was Stolen. I know the market here (Argentina) and it's not by our side (at least yet). Off course If I hear something I wll tell.

here in Bosnia Romanians are selling stolen goods all the time. I just heard that bunch of red cams wore rented fully loaded and never returned from Austria i wont be surprised if they show up here.
