  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Stolen equipment - beware in europe

We also have a passport photo one of the frauds. But I can't post it here...

26.01.2011. from our rental company was stolen RED ONE No1958 SET, RED ONE No4990 SET and ULTRA PRIMES LENCES SET!

Fraudsters contact us from company All Together Films London...
The fraudsters use the name of company All Together Films : http://www.alltogetherfilms.com/ and Alltogether Limited.

Their names:

MICHEAL NITSCHKE,
GEOFFREY MICHAEL ARTHUR NORRIS
DARREN OLIVER RAYMOND CHARLES DAFOE

...

Interesting - that website now has a warning that someone calling himself Andy Walters has been using their name to steal gear - it looks like the fraudsters may have just falsely used Alltogether's name and website to front their fraud??

That's a bit worrying if fraudsters start using legit businesses to perpetrate their crime!

1 thing is for sure;..

with all my future production I've decised I will hire weaponed security..
get's to dangereous everywhere these days....
People commiting crimes aren't punished the way they should when they get caught, so what's the risk for them??? almost nothing it seems

Sony DVW-700WSP .S/N: 42081

The cameras where stolen from the demo room, during the night from from 6th to 7th of Oct. in near Zuerich.

thanks
Manuel

I find it incredible that such an old camera would still be in a rental companies inventory.
I was the first person to use that camera a very long time ago!

Sounds like a serious epidemic hitting our colleagues in Europe. And I thought I had it bad losing two Canon DSLR's to fraudsters last month out here in California.

Hi Stephen,

Gemany is moving slow towards HDTV, Digibeta is still a widely accepted delivery format for Television :(

I think the last time i touched a Digibeta Camera was in 2004 or 2005.
