  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Stolen Accessories... WTF???

O.o 12hrs including breaks?! Please. Take out the breaks and MAYBE we have a deal. Still though...48hrs straight is a bit much yet if the work gets done, it gets done. With a fun enough crew and enough food and coffee to keep everyone going and hour sleep here and there i'm sure it'd be a good gig...

24hrs though should really be the limit tho...

Jeff you are a zen master. I would have been blasting that guy's name all over here if he had done that to my kit. Of course discretely.

Holy crap do I ever agree with this....

If it were me, I would've taken an assault charge.

Kick the crap out of the douche bag when all is said and done.

EDIT*** ...but I digress.....

I would love nothing more than to beat this guy senseless. I have never seen him in person though. I would love to broadcast all the details I know about him, but I have been down that road before and know that in the end it does little good. In fact, in a situation like this, it could potentially harm any legal proceedings against this individual. In that regard, I have probably already said too much in this thread.

I dont' have all the details on the shoot. I heard from indirect sources that it was 48 hours non-stop. But was also told by the producer that crew and talent were rotated and most of what went on during the day was set-up, set construction and props, etc.. Shooting through the nights.

I have not seen any of the footage for this shoot. I don't even know the name of the band or what type of music they perform. I know they're a local band to the Denver / Boulder area, but that means little as there are so many..

Producer made it right on my end as quick as they could because of several factors. They are scheduled to rent my equipment and use me as DIT for a job at the end of the month. My gear is the only casualty of this whole ordeal and the claim wouldn't have been a whole lot more than their insurance deductible, so they decided to settle up ASAP and not have me claiming on the insurance policy. -- saves future insurance rates and ability for them to buy coverage.

Good point. I guess cooler heads do prevail....and the damage to this LOSER RED Owner/thief's reputation will be like a giant kick in the teeth anyway.

Glad to hear that you got reimbursed.
