Hi guys, I just wanted to ask a couple of questions about stock footage.

I was wondering if you guys use the free stuff, shoot your own stock footage for later use or even shoot a load to sell on later as extra income?
Just hoping you can give me the lamen's low down on the whole thing.

Obviously, I'm not rich enough to buy it from ITN Source or anyone like that, but does anyone know of a way you can sell it to companies like this?
I assume that if they charge the earth for people to use it, they might pay well when it comes to buying it

Hi Daniel,
I started the way you describe. Doing the jobs and building up my own stock library which became so uge that I decided to sell the footage to external costumers. Now we have an own plattform specialized on RED RAW Footage with thousands of clips (also from other camera men). If you want to place your footage there have a look at http://www.sell.footage-online.de

Cheers
Thomas.
