  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Stills from RED...

Frazier, You need to upload them to a server and then copy the links for each individual picture. While You are posting, there is a small grey-yellow icon of a mountain and sun on top of the posting window, which allows You to insert a link to a picture. You have to do this for each picture individually...

Thanks Peter

Thanks Peter

Thanks Peter, didn't know how you guys did the large photo postings. And the quality can be higher that way.

Appreciate the info.

A lot of great work here... particularly liked the nature shots the best... but thats not because I thought the other shots were lacking, just because I like nature lol... great job to all of you.

So ur the guy that shot that footage i watch on Youtube all the time. :thumbup1: love that video so much - fighters taking off with afterburners :w00t:

Almost forgot ;)

The super moon from the other night, through the trees and some thin clouds in my front yard:

SuperMoon.jpg

Red One original Mysterium sensor (Mysterium Classic is what I call it), half-second exposure. Red Pro 300mm with f-stop at about 11. Color tweaked (a lot, it actually looked kind of yellow through the clouds) in RedCine X, then cropped and sharpened a little in Photoshop.

First light. First quick and dirty test, available light, started playing with grades.

Nothing to compare with the rest of this thread. Nothing for anyone except me to get excited about... but I had to post it anyway! Fuck me that's a camera! :thumbup1:

The raw ungraded images remind me oddly of my old Kodak DCS 760.

Mike

Some shots from my latest Red MX shoot. Not yet graded. Snapshot straight out of Red cine X.

Wow. Amazing thread. Makes me feel so inadequate. But wanted to join in with a couple of my personal favourites.

Excellent Jean!

From "Tattoo".... this is my quick grade and not the grade used in the movie. BTW... James Hong rocks.

This short was great on so many levels... and in a freaking week??? - I saw it like 4 or 5 times.

For those of you tool old to remember Blade Runner (lol) he was the guy who "Only does eyes" for the Tyrel Corporation

Loved seeing Powers Booth as well... but was super surprised that Bill Paxton directed.

THis to me was one of the biggest, holy shit they conceived shot and finished this in a week, surprises.

will the tattoo short be online anytime soon ?
would love to see it :)

I agree with Tim.. The range in this footage was amazing. It looked more like "Film and beyond" then what I have seen from RED before
